Description
Nos 119 and 121 on Cowlersley Lane are probably 18th-century buildings that were altered in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables on cut kneelers. The buildings are two storeys tall. The front facade has two ranges of tripartite sash windows, one sash window on the first floor, and a door with two moulded panels, flanked by Tuscan pilasters, topped with an entablature and a pediment-shaped blocking course. The rear includes one three-light and one four-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, with a similar arrangement on the ground floor, although one light is blocked.
