Description

Fenay Lodge is a mid-19th century lodge built of ashlar, with a hipped roof covered in stone slates. It has two storeys and a moulded eaves cornice. The front facade features three ranges of sashes with glazing bars. The central range projects slightly. A porch with Tuscan columns and a deeply projecting cornice provides access to a door with a fanlight. The garden front is more elaborate, with five ranges of sashes incorporating a broad, canted bay with French casements and marginal glazing bars. The rear of the lodge incorporates a round-arched staircase window with glazing bars, and a north-projecting wing with bipartite sashes and glazing bars.
