Description

Crown Court, located on Queen Street, is a building from 1825 constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a hipped slate roof. It has two storeys and features a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course. There is a continuous sill band on the first floor, which contains five ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. The central sash window on the first floor has a moulded surround. The entrance consists of double doors with moulded panels and a fanlight, set within a Tuscan porch that also has a blocking course and displays sculpted Royal Arms above.
