Description
Nos 16 and 18 on Queen Street are early 19th-century buildings constructed of ashlar stone. They feature a hipped slate roof and rise three storeys high. The façade includes a dentilled cornice and two ranges of sash windows, with glazing bars on the second floor facing Queen Street. There is a segment-headed archway with a keystone, leading to cast iron gates topped with spear finials. The buildings have a rounded corner and six ranges of sash windows, with glazing bars on the windows of No 16 and the first floor of No 18 facing Queen's Square. Additionally, there are two doors with elaborately moulded panels, each surrounded by panelled pilasters and topped with dentilled swan's neck pediments.
