Description
Nos 66 and 68 on Huddersfield Road are shops with underdwellings that form part of a terrace, dating from the early to mid 19th century, with later alterations to the frontage of No 66. The buildings are constructed from hammer dressed stone and feature a pitched tiled roof. They rise to two and four storeys.
On the north-west elevation, the ground floor has two entrances and two large, single light shop windows. The first floor includes one three-light stone mullioned window and one single light window. The south-east elevation has an entrance on the ground floor and one four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor features one three-light window and one two-light window, along with a later two-light window in between. The second floor has one four-light window, although the mullions have been removed, and the third floor contains two three-light stone mullioned windows.
