Description
Barn at New House Farm, dating from the 17th century, is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof. There is a slightly later addition on the left side. The barn has a cart entry on the right and an outshut at the rear, which creates a small aisle. It likely has three trusses, although only two were visible during the survey. The trusses are king-post types with struts on jowelled posts that are braced in three directions.
