Description

Lower Woodhouse Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof with gable copings supported by carved kneelers. The building has two storeys. The near central doorway is flanked by a 3-light window on the left and a 4-light window on the right, although the outer mullions of the right window have been removed. On the first floor, there is one 3-light window and a former 6-light window that has two blocked lights, resulting in two 2-light windows.
