Description
The boundary wall, railing, piers, and gates located to the north and east of Joseph Crossley's Almshouses were built around 1863. The structure features a stone wall with shaped coping and decorative iron railing. There is a pair of gates flanked by piers that are topped by heraldic beasts. Additionally, there are two simpler gateways leading to Swire's Road, which have gates made of timber and iron. This boundary structure is included as part of the Almshouses.
