The barn adjoining number 9 on Crow Tree Lane is part of a row of cottages built around 1800 to 1830, with some elements dating back to the 18th century. The cottages are two-storey structures made of sandstone with a stone slate roof, featuring tall chimneys with cornices. The barn, which is attached to number 9, has overhanging eaves and a stone slate roof. It also includes a quoined and voussoired segmental archway.
