Description
This is a row of cottages dating to approximately 1800, built at a right angle to Beacon Road. The cottages are constructed of relatively large sandstone "bricks" with stone slate roofs. The windows are flush framed, with one light or two light square mullions. Number 162 was refaced in the mid-19th century, featuring block kneelers to the gable and three small first-floor windows with three lights on the ground floor.
