Description
The building is a barn or stable that is attached to the south of Number 1 on Crow Tree Lane in Daisy Hill, dating from around 1800. It is part of a row of two-storey cottages that step up the hill. The cottages are constructed from thin sandstone bricks and feature stone slate roofs, corniced chimneys, and dentils along the eaves. The windows are three-light square mullion flush squared frame types, with a bow window on the ground floor of Number 4. Number 1 includes a small stable or barn that has a saddlestone on its gable end. This row of buildings remains largely unspoilt.
