Description

The pier located at the north-west of the garden of Number 11 is a 20th-century structure designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It complements the design of the garden, flanking the view from Heathcote along the central axis. This pier, along with the one at the north-east of the garden of Number 1, is part of a group of features surrounding Heathcote, designed to work together as a cohesive composition.
