Description
The Old Cathedral Vicarage, located on St James' Row in Sheffield, consists of two houses that were originally built as a vicarage around 1800 and have since been converted into offices, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building features a combination of ashlar and brick construction, topped with a hipped slate roof that has two side wall stacks, a single gable stack, and a single ridge stack. The ground floor is rusticated ashlar, with sillbands and moulded wooden eaves. The structure has three storeys and a six-window range. The windows on the lower level are 12-pane sashes with brick flat arches, while the upper level features 9-pane sashes, also with brick flat arches. The entrance includes a five-panel door with an overlight, flanked by two 12-pane sashes, with a similar door located to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
