Description

The Grimesthorpe pump is a water pump dated 1836, located on Upwell Lane in Sheffield. It is made of cast iron and designed in the style of a fluted Doric column, standing approximately 1.5 meters high. The pump features a square base and cap, with a spout on one side and a dated panel positioned above it. The handle of the pump is missing. This pump is situated on the site of the Cold Well.
