Description

The remains of a medieval cross are located at the junction with Far Bank Lane in Fishlake, specifically on the south-west side of Trundle Lane. This structure dates from the late medieval period and is made of magnesian limestone. It consists of a cross base and shaft. The square socket stone has been displaced from its original base and is broken. The socket stone features domed chamfer stops at each corner, while the shaft has elongated pyramidal chamfer stops.
