Description
This bridge, located approximately 60 metres north of Worsbrough Mill Museum, was built in 1809. It features rock-faced sandstone abutments and is constructed with deeply-coursed, dressed sandstone. The bridge has a single span with splayed wing walls. The segmental arch is made of ashlar voussoirs that rise from the abutments. The end piers of the wing walls project forward and are connected by a band that peaks over the arch. On the west side, there is a chevron-shaped date plaque. The parapets are topped with domed copings that are linked by iron cramps.
