Description
Osborne House is a large house built around 1820 for a colliery owner. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The house features two storeys and a five-bay symmetrical facade. The central doorway is framed by a Doric portico and includes an overlight and a panelled, glazed door. It has tall, 12-pane sash windows, a moulded eaves cornice, and a blocking course. The house also has ashlar stacks and a hipped roof. The right return has four bays with mainly blind windows, and there is a later porch added to the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
