Description
This gas lamp post, located approximately 6.75 metres south-west of the Assembly of God Pentecostal Church, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and stands about 3.5 metres high. The design features a tapering fluted shaft on a high base, with a foliate foot, moulded necking, and a crossbar. The lamp itself is missing. This lamp post is included for its group value as an important part of the streetscape.
