Description
Croft Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is built of brick in English bond and has a stone slate roof. The house features a three-cell plan with a blocked doorway on the left cell. It stands two storeys high and has three first-floor windows. The entrance consists of a four-panel door set beneath an elliptical arch. The windows are two-light Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars, with two on the left under elliptical arches and four on the right beneath flat brick arches. There is a first-floor band and a cogged eaves course. The house has two ridge stacks and the gable ends show signs of tumbling-in. On the right gable end, there are metal tie plates with the initials WH.
