Description

Cedar Tree Farm is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a likely heightening of the roof in the 19th century. It is built from pinkish-orange brick and features a grey slate roof. The house has two storeys and four windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a six-panel door beneath a decorated oblong fanlight, located in the third bay and sheltered by a 20th-century porch. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, set in flush wood architraves with ashlar cills, and all openings are under blocked elliptical arches. There is a two-course band at the first floor, a rendered band below the eaves, and a wooden modillion eaves cornice. The house has end and ridge stacks, and there is a contemporary fall pipe to the left of the door.
