Description

The gateway to the former school was built in 1840 for the Duke of St Albans Estate. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a pedestrian gateway with a plinth and a chamfered four-centred arch that has a hood-mould beneath a coped gable. There is a 20th-century inscribed name tablet to the left.
