Description
This is a grave slab located 1 metre east of the south aisle of the Church of St. Lawrence in Frodingham. It dates from the 13th century and has a later base and repairs. The slab is made of ashlar and is coffin-shaped with a flat top. It features a decorative cross in relief and a beaded lid, all carved from a single slab that is 15 cm thick, resting on a flat stone base. The grave slab has likely been repositioned within the last century.
