Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the North Side of High Street. It comprises eight windows and originally contained four projecting shop fronts on the ground floor. The building has three storeys and is constructed of red brick with a modern, hipped roof covered in pantiles. The windows are mostly hung sashes with glazing bars and have rusticated lintels topped with keystones. A canted bay window is present at No. 16. No. 20 features a ribbed doorway with a cornice and a modern, rectangular bay window; No. 16 previously had a doorway of a similar design. Nos. 10 to 22 (even) form a group value, with No. 12 of local interest only.
