Description
These are two 18th-century buildings on Bigby Street, part of a group with the Parish Church of St John. The buildings have a steep pantile roof, now modernised. The exterior is rendered, with plain eaves cornices. There are four windows, two modern on the left and two in cased surrounds with no glazing bars on the right. The ground floor has two modern windows to the left and a modern door. To the right, the remains of two late 19th-century shop fronts are visible beneath an early 19th-century segmental cornice, with a central double door. A stone plinth runs along the base. A coped gable end is on the right, and brick is visible on the side elevation.
