Description
Nos 16 and 17 on Wednesday Market in Beverley are mid-19th century buildings. They are two storeys high, constructed from red brick, and topped with a pantile roof featuring three dormers, each with two lights and ornamental cresting. The eaves are supported by brackets. The façade includes four windows with brick voussoirs and cills on tabs, and they do not have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows. The plinth has moulded stone coping. There are two doorways, each with plain pilasters, entablatures, and cornices that also feature cresting. The doorways have four-panel doors and rectangular fanlights, and they flank a round-headed passage entry.
