Description
No. 18 Wednesday Market is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of brick with a hipped pantile roof featuring plain brackets at the eaves. The second floor has two nearly flush frame windows with glazing bars, topped by painted flat arches. On the first floor, there is a canted square bay sash window without glazing bars, set in a wooden case adorned with pilasters and an entablature. The ground floor includes shop windows and two entrances, each with rectangular fanlights, all framed in a wooden case with sunk panelled pilasters that feature lion masks and an entablature.
