Description

This is an early 19th-century building of 5 bays, originally intended as 5 dwellings, now comprising numbers 16 to 24 Highgate, Beverley. The building is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and iron eaves gutter supported by brackets. The windows are near-flush-frame sashes with glazing bars, set within stone or painted stucco surrounds. There are 5 entrance doors, each with 6 fielded panels and a plain rectangular fanlight. A round-headed passage entry is located to the left.
