Description

56 Flemingate is a mid to late 17th century building that stands as a significant example of its time. It is two storeys high, constructed of red brick, and features a pantile roof. A prominent chimney stack, resembling a turret, is located at the west corner of the front. The first floor has a late 18th century window, while the ground floor has a similar window that has been reglazed. A modern door is present at the entrance. The front of the building is topped with a brick gable that showcases tumbled brickwork. This property was originally one house with No 58, which is part of the same group.
