Description

No. 59 Flemingate is an 18th-century house with an early 19th-century front elevation. It is two storeys tall, constructed of brick, and features coped gable ends with kneelers and a slate roof. The front has two windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars and rendered lintels. The doorway is flanked by narrow pilasters and topped with a cornice on brackets, and there is a rectangular fanlight above the door. The rear wing displays tumbled brickwork.
