Description

The Beeches is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The house features a central hallway entry with a cross wing at the rear. It has two storeys and three bays. The entrance includes a five-panel door with a radial fanlight, set in a pilastered doorcase topped with a dentilled open pediment. Throughout the building, there are four-pane sash windows beneath segmental arches. The house has end stacks. Inside, many original six-fielded-panel doors are present, along with an original fielded-panelled corner cupboard in the kitchen and alcove cupboards in the sitting room.
