Description

This is an early 19th-century detached house, situated on the east side of Lairgate in Beverley, and forming a group with the adjacent property at number 71. The house is constructed of white brick with a low-pitched slate roof. It has two storeys and features three windows with painted stone surrounds, rusticated heads, and a painted stone cill band to the first floor. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. A central porch has two Tuscan columns supporting an entablature, and the front door is a six-panel design with an ‘Adam’ fanlight above. A moulded wooden gutter is located at the eaves, supported by widely spaced modillion blocks.
