Description

The Old Windmill is a windmill located on Wirral Telegraph Road in Gayton. It dates from the mid-18th century or earlier and is constructed of stone. The structure features a conical tower, although the cap is missing. It has small window openings and an entrance that is adorned with a rusticated lintel. Inside, there are fallen remains of the timber structure. The exterior is partially covered in ivy.
