Description
The Bottle Shop at the former Ravenhead Glass Bottle Works is a building dating from around 1886. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The structure has a round-ended design with a gabled wing to the north. The round end includes brick segmental arcading, which is currently blocked, and is accessed by a ramp. An oval cone protrudes from the roof. Although the interior was not inspected, it is reported that the basement contains cast iron columns and beams, along with air and gas flues. The building was originally designed to accommodate a Siemens tank furnace.
