Description

The sea wall to the north island at the dock entrance was built in 1848 and is approximately 244.5 meters long. Designed by J. Hartley, it is constructed from granite rubble, featuring a mix of large and small blocks that are finished to a fair face. The wall has a raised lip along the coping.
