Description

Two houses, built in the 1820s. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone detailing, and have slate roofs. They are three storeys high with a basement, with two bays each. The design includes a lintel band at basement level, a sill band to the first floor, a top frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels; those at number 62 are casement windows with glazing bars, while those at number 60 are sash windows with glazing bars. The entrances are round-headed and feature Doric doorcases with fluted columns. Decorative iron railings are present to the areas and steps. Number 60 retains a complete fanlight above a four-panel door, whereas number 62 has a six-panel door with more recent railings.
