Description
No. 7 Rodney Street, which also includes No. 2 Maryland Street, is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring three bays on Rodney Street and six bays on Maryland Street. There is a sill course on the first floor and a cornice at the top. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed, with the first two bays having glazing bars, while there is a blind window on the second floor. The central entrances are round-arched and flanked by fluted columns, topped with a complete fanlight. There are plain iron railings around the area. The Maryland Street facade has a 20th-century oriel window inserted in the first bay on the second floor, with the entrance located in the fourth bay. The end two bays have blind windows.
