Description

No. 58 Bold Street is a shop built around 1900. The building is made of stone and has three storeys. The ground floor has been altered in the 20th century. The first floor features continuous glazing with iron mullions and transoms, three bow windows, and top lights with leaded glass, supported by an iron beam above. The second floor has a prominent seven-light window with leaded glazing. A deep flat cornice on brackets adds to the architectural detail. Despite the alterations, this building is part of a small group of notable Arts and Crafts commercial premises in the city.
