Description

The buildings at 2 to 40 Mount Street (even numbers) were constructed between 1836 and 1841. They appear on Decimus Burton's plan of 1841, indicating that the buildings were completed under his supervision, and likely to his design. The facades are rendered, with a pitched roof covered in modern tiles. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a band. They have raised quoins and a range of sash windows on each side.
