Description
This sundial, located approximately 10 metres south of the Church of St Cuthbert, dates from around 1700. It is made of sandstone and features a brass plate and gnomon, which were likely renewed in the 20th century. The sundial has a base consisting of two steps with a square plan. The stem is a round column that is roughly symmetrical, with a central swelling and a moulded cornice.
