Description
The barn adjoining to the east of Pimlico House is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof that is hipped on the east side. The building has two storeys. On the ground floor, the south side displays three plain stone surrounds with semi-circular heads above flat lintels. The two outer surrounds are filled with limestone rubble, and each tympanum is filled with a sandstone flag. The upper part of the central surround is now glazed, with timber filling the tympanum. On the first floor, there is a circular pitching hole with a plain stone surround. At the rear, there are two doors, each with a plain stone surround. This barn may have once been associated with the stables of the New Inn, which is the neighboring building to the east.
