Description
Brook House Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century, is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows consist of three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor, with square mullions and plain stone surrounds. Notably, the left-hand ground-floor window incorporates re-used hollow-chamfered mullions and double-chamfered jambs. The doorway, located between the bays, has a chamfered cement surround. The house has end stacks. Adjacent to the farmhouse is a barn on the left, which includes a wide entrance with a stone outshut porch.
