Description

Ribchester Bridge is a bridge over the River Ribble, built in 1789. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features three segmental arches with triangular cutwaters. The bridge has a string course and a solid parapet with coping. A portion of this bridge is located in the parish of Clayton-le-Dale.
