Description
Bridge End is a house dating from about 1800. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The house has a double-pile plan – meaning it is two rooms deep – with a central entrance and end stacks. It is two storeys high and two bays wide. The windows are tripartite, meaning they have three parts, with plain stone surrounds and square mullions. The central lights of the windows are sash windows with glazing bars. An open stone porch with a flat roof covers the doorway. Other details include shaped stone gutter brackets and gable copings with kneelers.
