Description

Saddle Bridge, also known as Fairy Bridge, is a bridge located 130 metres north-east of Rugglesmire Farmhouse. It is possibly from the 17th century and was restored in 1938. The bridge is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a narrow design with a single tall segmental arch. It has solid parapets topped with boulder copings. On the southern side, there is a plaque that reads: 'Rebuilt by Public Subscription 1938'.
