Description

Primrose House, built around 1809 by the owner of Primrose Mill, is a two-story stucco house. It features a molded eaves cornice and irregularly spaced hung sash windows with glazing bars. A full-height bow window projects from the front, containing a single window above a three-light window. The front door is inset, consisting of six fielded panels with a round-headed fanlight above, supported by console brackets. A single-story right-hand wing is a bow with three windows. A later one-story extension to the left was added for service purposes. The rear elevation has a similar doorway.
