Description

The tunnel entrance, located approximately 70 metres east of Mill Lane in Gisburne Park, was built in 1880 and is constructed of sandstone. It features a segmental arch entrance flanked by octagonal turrets that have loopholes and embattled parapets supported on corbels. On the outer sides of the facade, there are two additional similar turrets. These turrets are connected by a wall that has a corbel table supporting battlements.
