Description
Golgotha is a cottage with attached garden walls, dating from the early 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The exterior features white painted roughcast, likely over sandstone, and a composition tile roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two low storeys high with two bays. The doorway on the right is now covered by a modern porch, while the left side has an enlarged window with a deep chamfered surround. Above, there are two vertical-rectangular windows at the first floor, also with similar surrounds, raised sills, and 20th-century casements. Three slender iron gutter brackets are located below the current gutter level. A chimney is situated at the left end, embraced by the gable end of No. 3. The attached garden walls at each end enclose a rectangular garden and are made of large coursed sandstone rubble, approximately 1 meter high, topped with ridged coping. The interior has not been inspected.
