Description

Rose Cottage is a house dating from 1715 that has been altered. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are framed with stone surrounds that have shallow chamfers. The left-hand bay's windows once had mullions, which have since been removed. The door, located in the right-hand bay, has a moulded surround and a lintel inscribed with '17 BDM 15'. A chimney is positioned on the left-hand gable.
