Description
Old Hall Farmhouse is a house dating from 1668, as indicated by the inscription on the lintel. The building is constructed of rendered rubble and has a slate roof. It features a two-unit central-entry plan with end stacks and stands two storeys high, comprising three bays. A gabled porch with a stone roof is located between the second and third bays. The windows are sashed and set in plain stone surrounds. The door has a chamfered surround with a shaped lintel. The right-hand gable includes two one-light chamfered attic windows, one of which is blocked. At the rear, there is a parallel range with early 19th-century windows, which are also sashed with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds. Adjoining the farmhouse to the left is a barn that has exposed rubble walls and a continuous roof. The barn features a wide segmental-arched entrance at the right-hand end of its front wall, with a window above it to the left that has plain reveals and glazing bars.
