Description
This boundary stone, dating from the mid-19th century, is made of sandstone and has a triangular plan with a sloping top. The top is inscribed with the words 'BOUNDARY OF'. The left side bears the inscription 'WHITTINGTON. LANCASHIRE', while the right side is inscribed with 'KIRKBY LONSDALE. WESTMORLAND'. Part of this boundary stone is located in Kirkby Lonsdale civil parish in the county of Cumbria.
